The main factor with a big tummy is the material choice. You obviously don’t want to highlight the area so avoiding clingy material, such as a Lycra or polyester, is your saviour.

If that’s not the neckline for you, then focus on minimizing your bottom half by finding a dress that skims your body from the waist down. It should be fitted at your narrowest point – either the waist or just under the bust – and then gently flare down from there.

Show skin where you can, such as shoulders, arms, legs or back, to highlight your best feature and draw attention away from your bust. Knowing that you’ve got your best feature on show will give your more confidence.
