When a custom wedding dress is designed, the specific needs of the bride are kept in mind. It is not made with the general idea of fitting just any bride.

When the designer will make the custom wedding dress, he will categorize you into one of the following body types: apple shaped, pear shaped, hourglass, rectangle or inverted triangle. A wider upper body with a broad wait is called an apple shaped figure. If the hips are broader than the upper body, it is called a pear shaped body. An equally proportioned torso and hips is called an hourglass figure. If the upper body and the hips have the same width, it is called a rectangular body. And if the upper body so wider than the hips it is called an inverted triangle.
